About the mix:

Barcelona is known for its formidable nightlife. In the short time that I've been here, I have witnessed an endless stream of world-class DJs and bands grace the stages of the city's clubs, namely Sala Razzmatazz and Sala Apolo. It's been tiring, but rewarding! Modeselektor, SebastiAn, Apparat, Yelle, Cut Copy, James Holden, Fennesz, Uffie + Feadz, 2manydjs... the list goes on. Not to mention the 2007 iteration of the Sonar festival, which saw such acts as Justice, Simian Mobile Disco, Digitalism, New Young Pony Club, and Junior Boys. The clubs are hot, the music is fabulous, and the people are loving it. This mix is reflective of these experiences. It evolves from a deep, churning minimal techno flow (Thomas Schumacher, Deadmau5, Ellen Allien) into a dirty, rockin' electro groove (Cut Copy, The Gossip, Chromeo, Digitalism, Modeselektor, The Black Ghosts). Three original tracks are debuted on this mix. Circuit Flow & The Bird/Dense In The 4th Dimension is the musical endeavor started in Warkworth, Canada this past fall by Owen Meyers and Ray Monner. Influences include Cassius, Trentemoller and Thomas Schumacher.
